Development of a methodology for reliable, "authoritative" AI systems

In this innovation project, the strengths of Large Language Models (LLMs) are combined with the formal methods of Answer Set Programming (ASP), pairing the natural language processing of modern AI with the reliability of formal models.

Development of a generic graphical user interface (UI) for the knowledge-driven AI solver

The aim of the innovation project is to simplify the operation and visualization of the solver and thus facilitate access to knowledge-driven AI, especially for new applications.

An industrial research and development project is being carried out under the ProFIT funding program (Program for the Promotion of Research, Innovation, and Technologies).

Further development of clingo for large-scale industrial applications in machine configuration

The overarching goal of the Potassco project is to significantly enhance the performance and applicability of the ASP system clingo in order to meet the requirements of large industrial enterprises in the field of system configuration. Specialized algorithms are to be developed to handle search spaces involving millions of variables for the configuration of complex systems.
